Since 2006 Erik Noordam has been a member of MVA (Amsterdam Real Estate Brokers' Association), the local chapter of NVM (Dutch Associaton of Real Estate Brokers and Experts) where he was a personal member until 2009 when membership changed to corporate membership. NVM is member of ICREA (The International Consortium of Real Estate Associations), a Consortium of the world’s leading real estate associations. ICREA is committed to the right to own and transfer real property. ICREA sets standards for international real estate practice and facilitates worldwide real estate transactions through its website, WorldProperties.com. ICREA and its member associations are committed to high standards of professional conduct for member brokers. Each member association has a country-specific code of conduct and, collectively, the organization has adopted a statement on International Principles of Conduct.
The MVA has a partnership with Expat Center Amsterdam. The Expatcenter is a joint initiative of the cities of Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Almere and Haarlemmermeer, along with the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND). Its goal is to improve highly-skilled migrant procedures in the Amsterdam area, as well as act as a valuable information source for all expatriates living in the Amsterdam area.
